It starts before your wedding day
Once you’ve booked your Your Content Bestie, the experience doesn’t just begin when we arrive at your venue.
Before your wedding, you’ll have a consultation call with our founders and the content creator who will be capturing your day. It’s a chance for us to get to know you, understand what you’re planning and make sure we’re all on the same page before the big day.
We’ll run through your timeline, the flow of the day, your venue and any other details we need to know. More importantly, we’ll ask about you.
Are there particular people you absolutely want captured? Is there a special moment you’re really looking forward to? Are there certain details you’ve spent months planning? Do you have a particular content style or vibe you love? Is there a Reel trend you’ve been wanting to recreate?
We’ll talk through all of it.
You can also tell us what you don’t want. Maybe you don’t love overly posed content. Maybe you want things to feel completely candid. Maybe there are certain moments you’d rather just experience without a camera in your face.
The more we understand about you and your wedding, the better we can capture it in a way that actually feels like your day.
Then comes the wedding day
What happens on the day itself depends on your package, coverage hours and wedding timeline, but our approach stays the same: we’re there to capture the story of your day as it naturally unfolds, in real time.
We’ll capture the behind-the-scenes moments, the details you’ve carefully chosen, the people you love and all the little things happening in between the big events.
That might mean capturing you and your bridesmaids getting ready, the dress and venue details, the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the conversations with your partner as they are getting ready with their friends, reactions from your family, candid guest moments, your first look, champagne after the ceremony, the reception, speeches, dancing and everything in between.
And because you can only be in one place at a time, we’ll also be capturing the moments you physically can’t see.
While you’re taking portraits, your guests might be enjoying cocktail hour. While you’re greeting one table, your friends might be dancing at another. While you’re getting ready, your partner is having an entirely different experience somewhere else.

We’re not asking you to perform for the camera
One of the biggest misconceptions about wedding content creation is that you’ll spend your entire day being told what to do.
You won’t.
We don’t want you constantly thinking about the camera. In fact, some of our favourite footage comes from moments when couples have completely forgotten we’re there.
We’ll guide you when we need to, especially if we’re recreating a specific Reel or capturing something intentionally, but a huge part of our job is simply watching, anticipating and being ready when something happens.

Your wedding photographer and videographer are still an important part of your wedding team.
We’re not there to replace them or recreate what they’re doing.
Your photographer is focused on creating beautiful, professional still images. Your videographer is capturing the larger cinematic story of your wedding. We’re capturing something different.
Our content is raw, candid, immediate and designed to give you another perspective of your day, including the behind-the-scenes moments and spontaneous memories that might otherwise be missed.
The goal is for everyone to work together so you can get the most out of your wedding coverage without feeling like you’re surrounded by cameras all day.
And then the wedding is over… but our work isn’t
Once the last dance is over and we say goodbye, we take all the footage we’ve captured and get to work.
Your full collection of raw footage is organised and compiled into a Google Drive, so you have everything in one place.
At Your Content Besties, your full wedding content is delivered within 24 hours. Yes, really. You don’t have to wait weeks or months to see what happened.
The next day, while you’re still in that post-wedding bubble, you can open your Google Drive and start reliving your day.
You can see the moments you remember, discover the moments you missed and send your favourite clips to your friends and family.
Then, within 24 to 48 hours, depending on your package, you’ll receive your edited highlight Reel and any additional Reels included in your package.
So while your professional wedding photos and film may still be in the editing process, you already have something to look back on and share.

One of the fun parts of having wedding content delivered so quickly is that you don’t have to keep it to yourself.
We often post wedding content on Instagram and, if our couples are happy for us to, we’ll collaborate with them on the post so they can share it directly on their own page too.
It’s a lovely way to relive the day, share the excitement with the people who couldn’t be there and get your first little glimpse of your wedding day out into the world.
